ZUMBA -A REVOLUTIONARY FITNESS PROGRAM, THAT IS TAKING ALL OVER THE WORLD, JOIN US!
Zumba was created by Alberto ”Beto“ Perez, an experienced Colombian fitness instructor who discovered a new and fun way of working out. Zumba is based on Latin rhythms such as: salsa, merengue, reggaeton, cumbia, quebradita, bachata, and many others; but also can includes international music as hip hop, reggae, rumba flamenca, samba, belly dance, and other kind of music.
Besides the energetic music, what makes Zumba special is that you won’t feel the pain of the regular workout; instead you will feel excitement and joy while dancing and burning out calories. You will meet lots of new friends and have fun together like in a party. You will feel no pain and there is no need to be an expert dancer, nobody is going to be judging your dancing skills and you will catch up all the steps little by little as you come to each class. We will keep the same routine for up to five weeks to give you the chance to master all the steps and archive the best results.
The instructor will carefully gather different music for each new routine; therefore you will have different challenging steps every time.
The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principals of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
Who can do Zumba?
The greatest part about Zumba is that you don’t have to know how to dance. Anyone can do it whether you are young, old, or in-between. There are no requirements other than liking music and wanting to have fun. A typical class will consist of a warm up session, the main routine, and a cool down. Most classes last about an hour. The Zumba instructor goes with the flow and feel of the music each class so usually they are a little different. Each instructor choreographs their own individual routine. Zumba is the most exciting workout ever and is great for the mind, body, and soul! It is designed to put "FUN" back into fitness. Just don't forget to wear comfortable workout clothes, take lots of water, a towel, and most of all your "party" attitude.
